How we work

From a conversation to a camp,
in four steps

01

Listen

We ask before we plan

We sit with families and ask what is missing.

02

Plan

Only what we can do well

What volunteers and nearby doctors can manage.

03

Run

Close to home

In the village, with the people who asked.

04

Record

Written down plainly

We note what happened, and say so when we have not.

Common questions

What families ask us about the work

Not here? Call or send a WhatsApp message; the details are just below.

How do I find out when the next camp is?

Call or send a WhatsApp message and we will tell you the next camp or class near you. We run camps with the village ASHA and ANM, so they know the day and the place too.

What do you check at a health camp?

General check-ups, anaemia checks for girls and sickle cell screening, with doctors who come from nearby towns.

Can you hold a camp in our village?

Ask us. We first sit with families to hear what is missing, then plan only what our volunteers and nearby doctors can do well. A school room, a panchayat hall or a courtyard is enough.

Can you help with an Ayushman card or a pension?

Yes. We sit with the family and the gram panchayat to get the papers moving, including ID corrections that hold a scheme back.

My child missed school during migration. Can you help?

Our bridge classes help children catch up after seasonal migration, and reading circles in the village help them keep up once they are back in school.

Are the sessions in our language?

Where we can, yes. Talks are short and held in a seated circle, and volunteers translate Bareli or Nimadi at camps.
