Other ways to help
Not free to volunteer? You can still help
Offer a place
Lend a school room, a panchayat hall or a courtyard where we can hold a camp or a reading circle.
Tell a family
If someone near you needs a check-up, or help with a pension or an ID, give them our number: +91 87188 19093.
Give to the work
For now we can accept gifts only from Indian citizens, and we cannot issue a tax receipt while registration and 80G paperwork is in progress. Call before giving and we will tell you exactly where it stands.

What volunteers ask us first
Anything else? Call or send a WhatsApp message; the details are just below.
How much time do I need to give?
Pick what fits your week. Teaching is 2 hours a week in a reading circle. Camp help is one Sunday a month. Driving to camps is once a month. Translating Bareli or Nimadi and documenting happen at the camps.
Do I need to be a doctor or a teacher?
No. Doctors from nearby towns come for the camps. Everything else so far has been done by people from Barwani who give a few hours.
I live outside Barwani. Can I still help?
The camps and classes happen in the villages around Barwani, so most roles need you here. From anywhere you can tell a family about us, help us find a place for a camp, or give to the work.
What happens after I sign up?
We call you on the number you gave and match you to a camp or class near you. Nothing you send is stored on this website.
Are volunteers paid?
No. Right now everyone at the foundation is a volunteer, and nobody draws a salary.
Can I take photos at a camp?
Only with the person's consent. We do not name children, and we take a photo down if anyone asks.
