A foundation that asks people for money and personal details should say plainly what it does with them. We have published four policy pages. Here is what each one covers.
Privacy Policy
- What we collect when you donate, volunteer or write to us, and why.
- We never sell or rent your details.
- We do not publish a child’s name, photo, village or school without written consent from a parent or guardian, and never for a child the law protects.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data; we reply within 90 days.
Terms and Conditions
- We are not registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, so we can accept donations only from Indian citizens.
- We do not yet hold approval under section 354 of the Income-tax Act, 2025 (formerly section 80G), so donations are not tax deductible at present.
- We never ask for money into a personal bank account or personal UPI ID.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Donations are gifts and are normally final. If you were charged twice, paid the wrong amount or did not authorise a payment, tell us within 15 days and we will refund it to the account it came from.
